Our adjustable rate mortgage is so damn full of win right now its firkin ridiculous!!!!!
Oh and FINALLY our house is estimated at what its value should be at... not like last years overinflated value the asshole county assessors were trying to tell us it was worth, JUST so they could tax the hell out of us!
Now our house is valued at what it is actually worth!... In paper, and in my mind!
No wonder why this county is in such bad financial despair now... its all the greedy people out there... They did it to the rest of us!
But right now... The few people still working are in the winning seat, prices are dropping on goods as companies are selling less product, so sales are being more of what they should be, actually SALES! So if ya got money now... Buy Buy buy!!!!! Your dollar is going farther!

9:16 am - Jim Rose circus sideshow vs Jake the Snake Roberts!

Last time I shot Jim Rose was way way back in 1992 through 94, back at Seattle iconic places such as the Weathered Wall, Rock Candy and Moe's. So I was very pleased to get called to come shoot the new show of Jim Rose's at the Show box Market last night.
Jim was just as I remembered him in the early 90's, quick, funny and always the entertainer onstage. His shows are incorporating local talent in each city that he is in, so here in his hometown, he picked up acts from The 4 Horsemen/Pure Cirkus, and opened the show with one of the most outrageous Seattle acts, Super Geek League!
The show started promptly at 8:30 as advertised and broke right into an hour long set from SGL. Then with only a very short 15 minute time frame to completely clear the stage of all their gear, Jim Rose took the stage and busted directly into the second half of the show!
Sideshow acts from local performers such as Noel with his freekin' eye-hooks!!!, a human dart board with audience members throwing darts at him, dangerous, scary and funny acts of all types then straight into the full on WWE style wrestling/sideshow/fist fight, no-holds-barred, all out brawl!
This was a very well run, promptly on time and highly entertaining show at its best!

The drinks were flowing heavily from the bar all night, so without a doubt the crowd as well as the performers were in fine form!

So all I have been seeing and hearing on Face-book lately, are a lot of people complaining. Seems the mods on there are freezing accounts (even closing some and freezing that name handle) of people how are posting to often on there... ?!?!?!? WTF?... make a site for interacting with others, then limit the amount you can interact on it?!?!? What the hell are they thinking????
Then it appears that all the nifty little quizzes and games on there make your profile readable by all, even if you want your profile set to private, and it is very hard set your profile back to a private status after you have done those games/quizes/meme's etc....
Great for stalkers and pedophiles I guess.....
Also the fact that photos on there are put through a worse jpeg'ing - artifacting and resizing factor then even MySpace, so photos are sized way down and look like hell, plus there is no hot-linking allowed.
I have been reading on there about people leaving, closing their accounts en-masses as of late. What's the next big wave of popularity going to be on... Twitter sucks, MySpace is dying and over commercialized, Live Journal has its issues, (moderators who are you?)

8:58 am - Chemo session #5 today...
|
Today is Camille's Chemo session #5, with one more to go after this one in another 3 weeks. Camille was not looking forward to this again, its not the getting the chemo part that she does not look forward to, we make that as fun as possible, bringing my laptop and headphone splitter and we watch a movie (her choice always) .
What she does not look forward to are the nasty side effects, and it seems that each week its something different. 2 weeks ago it was the sudden and extreme bloody nose's. From totally out of the blue, all of a sudden it was like someone opened up a faucet and blood just starts pouring out the nose at any given point of the day.. not to fun. So I made sure she was always carrying around a travel size tissue pack. And then if she lies down and pinches her upper nose while holding a wad of Kleenex's it will subside shortly and she can then blow out the clot.. yeah.. fun reading this note while eating your breakfast huh?
Then last week she was hit with extreme hot flashes, that seem to come and go by the minute....One minute shes cold, and the next she is burning hot, when I would feel the top of her head it would be hot and she would just start sweating, then twice it was an extreme case of night sweats where the bed was totally soaked, not to much fun waking up like that.
SO, as you can tell, its not to much fun waiting around to see what kind of nasty surprises are in store around the next corner. And what is happening now, the chemo is really building up in her system after all 5 doses so far. Thank gaud there is only one more to go.. We are getting there!
OH, and wile we were watching the Family Guy last night, there was an opening segment where they cut away to short clip after Peter says something, it was, The first Chemo patient that discovers how to tie a bandana on their bald head!... we both got a good laugh out of that one!!!! HA HA HA.. yeah, go ahead and make fun of the cancer patients Family Guy!!!
So Todays movie of choice she picked out is going to be, Burn After Reading! Sounds good to me! Another Joel and Ethan Coen movie. We just saw No Country for Old Men last week, that was a good, interesting and sick movie.
So long story short, things are progressing along fairly well and we both feel VERY lucky, things could be so much worse. When we are in the Chemo room there are about 12 chairs in there with other cancer patients getting their dosage's, and we thank ourselves that we are making good progress. There is still a long road ahead, with one more Chemo session then a wait, then the surgery to be scheduled to remove the tumor. After that she will get hit with radiation, and not sure how much or how often, that will most likely be determined after the surgery.
Wish her good thoughts for today, and the coming few days afterwards where she does not feel to good. Your thoughts and prayers are most welcomed from all of you!
OH, one last thing to mention, Lindsay was kind enough to give Camille a gift of a professional massage! So I drove Camille to Lindsay's shop last night in West Seattle and I went walking around the junction window shopping while Camille got her much thankful for massage! Camille said It was so AWESOME lindsay!!! Thank you! What a beautiful office you have too!

The Cancer bills are fun enough to keep up with and decipher, then we got the last 3 days at NW hospital for Camille's dad when he passed away in March, bill sent to us!!!
~Oh yeah, ... right..... checks in the mail! HA! (thats me being facetious)
Fun being held responsible for your family members after their death.
